Privacy Policy
Mukpaw is operated by JPNC America LLC ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information we collect through the Mukpaw iPhone app and this website, how we use it, and how you can delete it. Mukpaw is for adults 18 and older, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
1. What we collect
- Account. Your email address (or the private relay address Apple provides if you sign in with Apple) and your display name.
- Pets. Your pet's name, species, photo, the personality you choose for AI Pet Translation, and any optional details you add, such as breed, age, or weight.
- Posts. Photos you upload, captions, the pets you tag, and the optional pet situation note. The note is not shown publicly; it is used only to generate that post's AI Pet Translation.
- Product badges. The cut-out product image created on your device, and the product name, brand, and category you enter. The original product photo stays on your device and is not uploaded.
- Activity. Likes, comments, blocks, and reports.
- Device and usage data. App events, device model, OS and app version, language, and approximate region, collected through Google Analytics for Firebase. A push token if you allow notifications. IP address and timestamps in our providers' logs.
- Support. Anything you send us by email.
We do not collect precise location, contacts, health data, or payment information. Mukpaw has no paid features.
2. How we use it
To run the app (publishing posts, showing the feed, likes, comments, and notifications you allow), to generate AI Pet Translation, to keep the service safe by reviewing reports and enforcing our Terms, to understand how the app is used in aggregate so we can improve it, to answer support requests, and to meet legal obligations.
3. AI Pet Translation
To generate an AI Pet Translation we send your pet's profile details and personality, your caption and pet situation note, and the names and categories of tagged products to our AI provider. Photos are never sent to the AI provider. Generated text is checked automatically before it is shown. Prompts and generated text are kept by our AI monitoring provider for a limited period so we can monitor quality and errors, and are not used to train any third party's models.
4. What is public
Your display name, pet names, pet photos and profile details, posts, captions, tagged products, AI Pet Translations, and comments can be seen by anyone, including people who are not signed in. Your email address, pet situation notes, blocks, and reports are not public.
5. Who we share it with
We share information only with the providers below so they can perform services for us, and they may use it only on our instructions. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the safety of our users.

Mukpaw is operated from the United States and your information is processed there. This website itself does not use cookies, analytics, or tracking.
6. Deleting your information
You can delete your account at any time in the app under Settings. This deletes your account, posts, photos, comments, likes, pet profiles, and badges immediately and cannot be undone. Some records may remain for a limited time in backups, in security logs, in AI monitoring records, or where the law requires us to keep them. See Account Deletion for steps. You can also email [email protected] to ask what information we hold about you, or to correct or delete it.
7. Security
We use encryption in transit, access controls, and reputable infrastructure providers. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure.
8. Changes
We may update this policy. We will change the date at the top of this page and, for significant changes, give notice in the app.
