Terms of Service
These Terms are an agreement between you and JPNC America LLC ("Mukpaw", "we", "us") for the Mukpaw iPhone app and this website (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.
1. Who can use Mukpaw
You must be 18 or older. You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping access to your email or Apple ID secure.
2. Your content
You own the photos, text, and other content you post. You confirm you have the right to post it. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, display, and distribute your content so we can operate the Service. This license ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies kept in backups for a limited time.
Content on Mukpaw is public, including to people who are not signed in. Do not post anything you would not want to be public.
3. Zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users
Do not post or do any of the following:
- Hateful, harassing, threatening, sexually explicit, violent, or shocking content
- Anything that sexualizes minors in any way
- Content depicting or encouraging cruelty, neglect, or harm to any animal
- Spam, scams, impersonation, or artificial engagement
- Content that infringes someone else's rights or shares another person's private information
- Attempts to break, overload, scrape, or reverse engineer the Service
4. Reporting and blocking
You can report a post, comment, user, or AI Pet Translation from the app, and you can block a user. We review reports and act on them within 24 hours, including removing content and suspending or terminating accounts. If you believe we made a mistake, email [email protected].
5. AI Pet Translation
Posts may receive a short line written in your pet's voice, labeled "APT". It is generated automatically by an AI model from the text and product information you provide. Photos are not used. APT is fiction written for entertainment. It is not a statement about your pet and not veterinary, medical, nutritional, or product advice. Generated text may be inaccurate, and it can be reported like any other content.
6. Products and brands
Brand and product names you tag belong to their owners. Mukpaw is not affiliated with or endorsed by any brand that appears in the app, and nothing in the app is a claim about a product's quality, safety, or effect.
7. Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time in the app under Settings. Deletion removes your account and your content and cannot be undone. See Account Deletion. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or if the law requires it.
8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, JPNC America LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, goodwill, or profits, arising from your use of the Service, and our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed US$100. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
9. Apple
These Terms are between you and JPNC America LLC, not Apple. Apple has no responsibility for the app or its content and no obligation to support it. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States. Any dispute will be brought in the courts located in Denton County, Texas.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms. We will change the date at the top of this page and, for significant changes, give notice in the app. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
